O frabjous day calloo callay! The Rose Street Artists Market is open again every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. We are so excited to be back with our community of great Melbourne artists and you can find us there every weekend up to Christmas and beyond.
Victoria Lockdown
Just a brief message to confirm that our online store is still up and running during the current lockdown in Victoria. We are also still offering free shipping on all orders.
Unfortunately our other home at the Rose Street Artists Market is temporarily closed but we are hoping that the market will be back up and running in the not too distant future. Fingers crossed!
Year of the Rooster
Wishing all of you out there a happy year of the rooster. We are busy working away in the studio designing new pieces which we hope to unveil soon.
Yoga Moon
In August Long Silver Thread will be donating 15% of our online sales to Yoga Moon.
Yoga Moon is an initiative of PRASAD Australia (Philanthropic Relief, Altruistic Service And Development) and is a not-for-profit organisation that supports a number of health and education programs.)
One of the programs they currently support is the PRASAD Nutrition Program which aims to eradicate malnutrition as well as help pregnant women have healthy deliveries. Every day, the program helps nearly 200 women and children.

Autumn 2015
A photograph of some of our newer pieces for 2015. Inspired by recent journeys along the Great Ocean Road our new pieces are heavily influenced by the sea, the sky and the ideas of travel and adventure.
South Melbourne Night Market
Long Silver Thread will also be at the South Melbourne Night Market this Summer every Thursday night after 5:30 pm between January 15 to March 5 2015.
The Market is located under the verandah at the corner of Coventry and Cecil streets.
