Long Silver Thread crafts jewellery pieces designed around Eastern myths, wanderlust and the symbolism of the natural world. Our pieces are inspired by years of living across Asia from the valleys of Kathmandu to the high-rises of Shanghai. Each piece is made to hold a special significance and comes with a card explaining the thought process behind the design and its meaning.

We design and craft the master for each jewellery piece in our Melbourne studio and ethically source our stones and casts from businesses which share our values. In creating all of our pieces we seek out the finest materials we can find. We take our craft seriously and are glad that you do too.

RENCHEN

Renchen moved to Australia after a successful career in fashion and design working with a number of labels such as Kenzo, Chloe and Christian Dior. Renchen has a deep love of Asian culture and design and spends her time away from Long Silver Thread working on experimental projects based on her exploration of traditional materials and crafting methods.

ZENO

Zeno has worked internationally as a writer, illustrator and designer for a number of global clients. Locally, he has been formally recognised by the Arts Council of Australia and his work has appeared in the Age Newspaper and Meanjin Literary Journal. Zeno is passionate about creativity and keeps himself busy with drawing and painting.
